Day 1 Arrival in Guayaquil, meet at airport and transported to the hotel (no meals)
Day 2 Tour Iguana Park, Park Historica, and Malecon 2000 with dinner along the Guayas River (all meals)
Day 3 Morning flight to Galapagos; town tour, visit the Interpretation Center, pick up you snorkeling equipment, and head for the beach before dinner. (all meals)
Day 4 A day in the highlands: Galapaguera (tortoise breeding center), El Junco Volcano, and Puerto Chino beach. (all meals)
Day 5 A day at sea. Snorkeling Leon Dormindo (“Kicker Rock”), beach and shallow snorkel time, touring the sea bird colonies along the way. (all meals)
Day 6 Visit the breeding Blue-footed Boobies and giant Frigate Birds on Lobo Island – up close and friendly. Snorkel the secluded channel where sea lion babies wait to play with you. Beach time before returning. (all meals)
Day 7 Early flight to Isabela Island – visit Flamingos, Mangroves, Galapaguera, and more. (all meals)
Day 8 Visit Las Tintereras – penguin colony and snorkel, island walk with hundreds of baby marine iguanas. Afternoon speedboat to Santa Cruz Island. (all meals)
Day 9 Highlands of Santa Cruz – visit giant tortoises in the wild, lava tunnels, the “twin craters,” and Scalesia forest. (B,L provided - special farewell dinner option)
Day 10 Cross the island and the channel to Baltra Island for your flight back to Guayaquil. Flight home that night. (breakfast provided; lunch on plane)

      Dominican University of California is offering “The Galapagos Experience”  EDUO 9851 (3 Semester Credits/Units)

While Galapagos Education Tours are not accredited, K-12 and Community College teachers can earn graduate level units/credits towards professional growth for travel on a Galapagos Education tour. By registering through the Dominican University of California (DU), Continuing Education Program, in EDUO 9851, The Galapagos Experience, you will be eligible to earn 3 Professional Growth, graduate level semester credits/units by completing all of the trip requirements and documenting your experience.
